There are some celebrities we can always count on to deliver a standout red carpet look—Zendaya, Colman Domingo, and Ayo Edebiri among them. But there’s something thrilling about watching a new fashion star ascend. This awards season, KPop Demon Hunters’ Audrey Nuna has proven herself a true risk-taker, becoming one of the most exciting red carpet dressers in recent memory.
Born Audrey Chu, the 26-year-old Nuna, who lends her singing voice to the character Mira, first came on the scene in 2018 as a solo artist. But following the runaway success of Demon Hunters, she’s established herself as a regular awards season presence—without falling for the old red carpet clichés.
Styled by Danyul Brown, Nuna has leaned into (mostly) monochromatic looks marked by their layering, texture, and silhouette. At the 2026 Golden Globes, she stole the show in a Thom Browne dress outfitted with a regal black cape and oversized white bow, accessorized with a dramatic netted veil and a severe black lip. But even before that, she was taking bold fashion swings, like when she wore a corset atop a red latex hoodie with a voluminous, tiered ball skirt to Jingle Ball, or chose a splashy graphic Moschino dress for Time’s “A Year In TIME” event.
Fashion has always been central to Nuna’s life; her father owned a clothing manufacturing company in the New York City garment district. “On weekends, I’d play with the fabric and try things on. So, fashion is not just a passion of mine, but it is also deeply connected to my family’s story of surviving here in this country,” she told Vogue Singapore. “I hold it near and dear to my heart.”
With the singer up for her first Grammy on Sunday night, we’re certain she’ll pull out all the stops. Here, take a look back at some of Audrey Nuna’s best red carpet moments.
