Kevin Williamson, the creator of the ‘Scream’ franchise, steps into the spotlight in a new featurette as he makes his franchise directorial debut with ‘Scream 7′.
The new featurette includes brief interviews with Neve Campbell and Isabel May, who appear in the new film as mother and daughter, Sidney and Tatum. Franchise stars Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown also feature, along with Williamson himself.
When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Alongside Campbell, May, Gooding and Savoy Brown, ‘Scream 7′ also stars Courteney Cox, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, McKenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons and Mark Consuelos.
Details of the film are being kept tightly under wraps, with fans growing frustrated online at their perceived lack of marketing. Honestly, the less-is-more approach may just pay off as the trailer really gives hardly anything away!
‘Scream 7′ will arrive in cinemas on 27th February 2026.
