The Corporate Enforcement Authority (CEA) has spent €272,000 on legal fees to fight a Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) case brought by one of its employees.
Details of the large legal bill were revealed by the company law enforcement agency at the Dáil’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) last week, as its director Ian Drennan was grilled by TDs about a “crisis” in the organisation.
