An emotional Ireland AM presenter, Eric Roberts, paid a special tribute to his nephew, Oisín, in last night’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on RTE.
The contestants were asked to honour a person or people who have made an impact on their lives, and dedicate a dance to them.
Proud Downings man, Eric, dedicated his dance to his nephew and ‘best friend’, Oisín, who has cerebral palsy and autism and often features on Eric’s social media posts.

Eric and pro dancer Arianna Favaro danced Tango to Coldplay’s ‘Clocks’, Oisín’s favourite song. They impressed the judges and received 34 points.
Oisín, who was in the audience with his mum Tanya, also looked suitably impressed by his uncle’s performance.
Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins won immunity last night’s Dedicated Dance Special, after dancing a contemporary ballroom to ‘Never Enough’ by Kelly Clarkson. This means Katelyn, alongside pro partner Leonardo Lini, will be immune from elimination from next week’s Fright Night and the first Dance Off of the season.
