Ireland head coach Andy Farrell could spring a couple of surprises when he names his team to play France in Thursday night’s Six Nations opener in Paris (8.10 Irish time).
Sam Prendergast (22) is set to see off competition from Jack Crowley and Harry Byrne to get the nod at out-half, with his older brother Cian (25) and Jacob Stockdale believed to be strongly pushing for inclusion.
