Efforts to resolve the long-running dispute between Wilson’s Hospital School and Enoch Burke have suffered a significant setback following the resignation of members of a disciplinary appeals panel (DAP) that was considering whether the dismissal of the anti-transgender schoolteacher was justified.
The process had already become mired in litigation after Mr Burke sued the three-member panel, claiming he was denied fair procedures at a hearing on December 13 last year.
