A date has been set for the opening of an art gallery in a former high street bank.
Clarendon Fine Art will begin trading in the old Halifax branch in High Street, Stamford, on Friday, February 20. There will then be an ‘open weekend’ for people to take a look around.
In 2024, the old HSBC on the corner of High Street and Red Lion Square became the Gladwell and Patterson gallery.

According to design documents submitted to South Kesteven District Council Clarendon Fine Art has modified the Grade II* listed High Street building, which dates from the 1600s but has been heavily modified over the years, particularly in 1981.

Before that the building had been divided into two separate businesses, one of which was a wallpaper shop.
