It took late points from Adam Screeney and Darragh McCarthy to propel favourites University of Limerick back to a fifth consecutive Fitzgibbon Cup final.
Holding on to their two-point advantage on home soil, UL withstood a late barrage from University of Galway, who will have regrets about missed openings in a tense encounter at UL’s Maguire’s Field.
