Tesco Ireland has urgently recalled a batch of its popular bakery treats over fears they may contain metal fragments.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) issued an alert today for a specific batch of Tesco’s Et Voila! Pains au Chocolat 4 pack, which retails for €4.
According to the FSAI: “This batch of Et Voila! Pains au Chocolat 4 pack is being recalled due to the possible presence of metal pieces.”
Tesco has been instructed to remove the affected batch from sale and to display recall notices at the point of purchase.
