The family of a young Wicklow nurse who died in tragic circumstances last Saturday have described her as a caring, loyal and affectionate woman with a deep affection for animals and “the best sense of humour”.
The funeral service of Freya Keegan Cullinan was held at Wicklow Church of Ireland, Church Hill, on Friday, with her beloved St Patrick’s GAA team mates forming a guard of honour as mourners made their way to the church.
