As the New England Patriots prepare for Super Bowl LX against the Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Drake Maye is leading the team to their first appearance since 2019.
But alongside the 23-year-old star, his wife Ann Michael Maye has become a sensation, drawing massive online attention with her viral baking videos, fitness routines and stylish game-day outfits.
Ann Michael, formerly Hudson, is a 22-year-old University of North Carolina (UNC) graduate who earned her business administration degree in May 2025. Her family has deep ties to American football: her father played at Wofford College and her younger brother Tad was a backup quarterback for the UNC Tar Heels in 2023 before transferring to Coastal Carolina in 2024.

The couple’s love story started early. Drake and Ann Michael met as children and became middle school sweethearts, dating since they were 12 years old. They attended high school together before officially announcing their relationship on Instagram in 2020 with a New Year’s post from Drake.
Both headed to UNC, where they continued building their future. After Drake was drafted third overall by the Patriots in 2024, he proposed to Ann Michael in January 2025 in a romantic beachside setup.
They tied the knot on June 21, 2025, at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina. Wedding photos, including one of Drake and his groomsmen in a football formation, quickly went viral.

Ann Michael’s rise to fame accelerated after Drake’s draft. She has amassed over 500,000 TikTok followers with her “Bakemas” series, a viral baking show that gained traction before Christmas. This led to her hosting “Beyond Bakemas” on NBC Sports Boston, blending her culinary skills with Patriots spirit.
Fans often compare her to NFL legend Tom Brady’s ex Gisele Bundchen in TikTok comments, which Ann Michael addressed humorously in a video with Dave Portnoy, noting: “Yeah, it’s always, ‘Gisele could never this, Gisele would never that,'” and adding, “I’m like, Gisele is pretty – she’s been pretty good, guys.”
Her fitness dedication has also taken the internet by storm. On Monday, Ann Michael kicked off Super Bowl week with an Instagram Stories post from a Pilates reformer class, flaunting her ripped abs in a grey workout set and captioning it “Happy Super Bowl week!!!” Pilates is a key part of her routine, helping her maintain those toned abs that have fans buzzing.

Fashion is another area where Ann Michael shines. During the playoffs, she sported sparkly pants for the Wild Card round, a special Drake sweatshirt in the Divisional Round, and a custom Maye jacket for the AFC Championship. For Super Bowl week, she stunned in an all-denim outfit shared on Instagram, earning her the nickname “WAG MVP” from admirers.
Ann Michael has been a constant supporter of Drake, attending the Patriots’ Super Bowl send-off rally on February 1 and their 10-7 AFC Championship win over the Denver Broncos on January 25. After the draft, she posted on Instagram: “Drake, words cannot describe how proud I am of you. What an incredible blessing it has been to be by your side through all of this. I love you and can’t wait for this next chapter! GO PATS!!”
The public show of affection isn’t just a one-way street either. Drake has publicly gushed about his wife, calling her “the boss” during Super Bowl opening night.

He said: “Getting married was one of the best decisions I made in my life… What a blessing it has been to have Ann Michael and know to come home to someone who cares about my day.
“She’s the boss but at the same time it’s been awesome to have her cook meals so I don’t have to worry about scrambling to find dinner when I come home late at night – she’s got it ready.”
