Nearly 50 years ago an unassuming converted barn in the tiny hamlet of Annamoe became one of Ireland’s most celebrated dining rooms.

Long before today’s Wicklow restaurants found their way into the Michelin Guide, Armstrong’s Barn was blazing a trail — earning the county its first and only Michelin star in 1977 and drawing food lovers up winding rural roads for a taste of something truly exceptional.
