NBC’s four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series The Voice returns this fall with all-star coaches Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire reclaiming their red chairs for Season 28. The electrifying panel vies to discover and coach America’s next singing phenomenon.

The show’s unique structure consists of five competition phases: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs, and Live Performance Shows.

The Voice Coaches

There are no rookies this season, but it marks the first time Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire will all compete together. Bublé returns after winning back-to-back seasons with Sofronio Vasquez and Adam David, setting up an epic showdown with Horan, who is also undefeated following consecutive titles with Gina Miles and Huntley. They’ll face off against McEntire, who claimed victory in Season 25 with Asher HaVon, and Snoop Dogg, still searching for his first win after making his debut in Season 26.

The Voice premiere date

Season 28 premieres Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and will air Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the fall.

The Voice host

It wouldn’t be The Voice without Carson Daly at the helm, and the former MTV VJ is back once again to host Season 28. This year, he’s even armed with a new superpower — the “Carson Callback,” giving him the chance to rescue standout singers who might otherwise slip through the cracks.
