Escape from Tarkov will be offering a Steam bundle with affectionate parody Escape from Duckov. The bundle combines the Tarkov Standard Edition and the full Duckov game for 20% off the total purchase price. This promotion goes from February 10-24.
There will also be in-game event quests for each game, with Tarkov seeing some duck-flavored content. Those include new crafting recipes, Hideout customization options, quests, items, and even a new food item, a “can of duck pate.” A bit gruesome, sure, but Tarkov has never shied away from the grotesque.

Escape from Duckov enjoyers will be able to fight bosses from Tarkov, experience a new map, earn a new rideable animal, and other content celebrating the collaboration.
Tarkov itself is getting some unrelated in-game updates, the most notable of which is the updated in-game season from winter to “early spring.” The game received the surprise in-game addition of snow several major updates (wipes) ago, and has changed the in-game environment to “match” the real-world ever since.

There will also be new skins added to the in-game store for both the BEAR and USEC factions, giving players more opportunities to customize their PMC’s appearance. The BEAR skins include the “Klyaksa” camouflage anorak and Gorka pants. USMC Extreme Cold Parka and US Marines Snow MARPAT trousers are coming for USEC players.

Also, Tarkov will be reducing the price of the Standard Edition in mainland China to ¥199, and as such, all editions will see a roughly 40% price cut. There will also be Lunar New Year rewards announced in more detail on February 16.
Steam users will now be able to share their in-game status, faction, and level, among other stats, in their friends list, as well as see where their friends stand in Tarkov progression. Handy.
