Bohemians’ Patrick Hickey says it was an “unbelievable” feeling to play at Lansdowne Road for the first time in his career as his new club kicked off the 2026 campaign with a derby draw against St Patrick’s Athletic on Sunday.

Although the action on the pitch won’t live long in the memory as the fixture ended scoreless for the third successive meeting, for Hickey, it was the largest crowd the Chicago native has ever played in front of.
