“So you’re telling me there’s a chance?” is an unforgettable line from the iconic comedy Dumb and Dumber but it was also the only inspiration that John Conlon needed to hear after suffering a horror finger injury last summer.
The Clare hurling star would normally remove his wedding ring for training but he thought little of leaving it on when the Clonlara squad went for a few pucks after a gym session last July.
