Noel passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving wife and family in Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Monday, February 9th, 2026.

 

Devoted husband and best friend of Geraldine (née Guiney) and much loved father of Darren and Nikki.

 

Beloved son of Eily and the late Jeremiah.

 

Dear brother of Dermot, Kathleen (Curtin), William, Eileen (Connery), Adrian, Claire (Tarrant) and the late Mary and Brian.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, future daughter-in-law Sansrutik, mother-in-law Noreen, uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant, County Cork (P51 N2NP) on Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed by Prayers.

 

Reception into St. John the Baptist Church, Kilbrin on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which Noel will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.

 

 

The family would like to thank all First Responders, Helicopter Crew, staff at CUH and the kind friends and neighbours that helped.
