Marie passed away on 8th February 2026, unexpectedly, at home. Beloved sister of Noel and Peter Murray, mother to George, mother-in-law to Bridie, grandmother to Hannah and George. Marie will be deeply missed by her loving family, sisters-in-law Deirdre and Roma, nieces and nephews Jennifer, Paul, Oisin, Cormac and Jo-Ann, great grandnieces and nephews Katie, Conor, Cillian, Eva and Darragh, her kind neighbours and her many good friends.

 

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Sunday (15th February) from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers recited at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 10.30am in St. Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy, Kilkenny (R95DK88)

Funeral afterwards to Mulhuddart Cemetery, Dublin, arriving for 2pm approx.
