“The Kelly Clarkson Show” is coming to an end, but another pop star is fueling rumors that she could be the next daytime talk show host.

Starting March 2, Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore-Hart, will guest host “The Kelly Clarkson Show” for a week in honor of Women’s History Month. The episodes will celebrate women’s achievements across music and culture.

Talk shows often have guest hosts for one-off episodes, but Pink’s week-long stint has sparked speculation she could be next in line to host a daytime show. “Y’all trying her out as replacement???” one fan wrote on X in response to the news. Another commented, “I’m down for Pink having her daytime talk show.”

While some fans were excited at the prospect of the “Try” singer getting her own TV show, others were less enthused. “Don’t know how I feel [about] this. Less Kelly knowing it’s the last season doesn’t sit well,” a viewer posted on X.

Another fan was disappointed that Clarkson wouldn’t be hosting for a full week, knowing the show would end soon after. “That is sad to hear. So few episodes of the show left, I’d much rather see Kelly. I hope we don’t get any more guest hosts,” they wrote.

Clarkson isn’t the only host whose show is ending. Sherri Shepherd’s syndicated talk show was not renewed and will end after the current fourth season. It seems like there’s plenty of room for Pink to take over the airwaves.
