A reality‑TV personality has announced the death of her four‑month‑old son, sharing a message of grief with her followers on Instagram.
Lisa Straube, who appeared on Germany’s Temptation Island VIP, confirmed that her baby boy, Xavi, died on Monday. The 25‑year‑old said she was struggling to comprehend the loss, writing: “I wish I could hold you in my arms again.”
Straube and her husband, fellow reality‑show contestant Furkan “Akka” Akkaya, welcomed Xavi in September. “Xavi passed away unexpectedly and suddenly this morning,” she shared on social media. “We haven’t even come to terms with it yet. Akka, Emilio, and I need time to process what has happened and ask you to please refrain from asking us and our families questions.”

The couple has another son called Emilio, who was born in October 2024. Xavi was born on 18 September last year, as reported by NeedToKnow.
Straube wrote that her “little angel” was in her thoughts, asking him to watch over his older brother and telling him the family loved him “endlessly”.
“Our thoughts are with you, our little angel, and please, please, please watch over your brother from above and say hello to everyone in heaven for us, my darling. We love you endlessly, Xavi,” the full statement read.

She captioned a black and white photo of Xavi with the words: “Four months… and now you’re gone,” and continued to open up on the shock and upset in the emotional post.
“So unexpected. My worst nightmare has become reality,” she added. How am I supposed to survive this? How does anyone cope? I wish I could hold you in my arms again… warm and cuddly.” The grieving family did not reveal the tot’s cause of death.
Straube and Akkaya, who appeared on Too Hot To Handle Germany, began their relationship in 2023 and married the following year. She previously said her second pregnancy came as a surprise but that she was delighted to be expecting again, telling Bild she had taken a test on a “gut feeling” despite having no symptoms.
“It came as a big surprise,” she told Bild. “I suddenly had this gut feeling that I needed to take a test, even though I had no symptoms at all. When it came back positive, I was shocked – in a positive way.”

Temptation Island originally began in the US on the Fox network in 2001, and follows four married couples who travel to an island to test their fidelity.
It was cancelled after three seasons, but the format was revived in the US in 2019, where it streams on Netflix, and has also spawned several international editions. A British version aired on Sky One in the early 2000s and was fronted by late presenter Ed Hall, but the programme has yet to make a comeback in the UK.
