A violent brawl which broke out at a Luas stop on Sunday following a football match at the Aviva Stadium has been captured on camera.
In footage taken from inside the busy Luas carriage outside the George’s Dock stop, beside the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin, two groups of youths can be seen trading blows.
The camera then pans outside the Luas, showing a number of individuals shouting and fighting, many with their hoods up. The two rival groups are seen punching each other, while horrified Luas passengers are heard expressing their shock at the incident.
The vicious incident took place after the League of Ireland match on Sunday between St Patrick’s Athletic and Bohemians, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Gardaí confirmed that they received reports of the incident, but upon arrival those present had “left the scene”.
A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí responded to reports of a public order incident in the area of George’s Dock, Dublin 1, yesterday, Sunday, 8 February 2026, at approximately 4.45pm. On arrival, those present had left the scene.”
