Nothing is opening the Beta of Essential Apps, a new way to create apps built around the user.

Instead of standard apps made for everyone, Essential Apps lets you describe what you need in plain language.
The Essential Apps Builder turns it into a working app for your home screen. Previous versions can be restored with one click.
The Beta is currently available on Phone (3) devices with access expanding gradually through a waitlist.
Essential Apps currently support Location, Calendar (read-only), and Contacts. This lets users make reminders, agendas and one-tap contact widgets.
Future updates will add camera, microphone, notifications, weather, and more widget sizes.
The brand’s Playground is where users can for create, explore, and share apps and connects with Nothing’s other tools like Essential Space, Essential Search, and Essential Memory.
Essential Apps will roll out to more devices later this year.
