Cardiff manager Brian Barry-Murphy
One sport looms large in the background of an Irishman right at the heart of Welsh football.
The Cardiff City team managed by Brian Barry-Murphy and the Wales rugby squad both train at the same complex in the Vale of Glamorgan, a 30-minute drive deep into the countryside outside of the Welsh capital. And as he sits down to speak to the Irish Independent in the adjoining hotel, the lobby is filled with large-limbed Welshmen, members of the rugby squad preparing for the first week of Six Nations duty.
