Kurfürst adds that the Watch 5 will be available in a choice between Black and Juniper Green colours. Like its Chinese counterpart, the global Watch 5 is slated to feature a 1.54-inch AMOLED display with a 930 mAh battery rated for up to 6 days of battery life, too.
Surprisingly, the global model is rumoured to run Wear OS rather than Xiaomi’s proprietary equivalent. In that sense, the Watch 5 should serve as a replacement for the older Watch 2 Pro (curr. $239.99 on Amazon). Although a release date escapes Kurfürst’s leak, its timing suggests that the Watch 5 will receive a global release before MWC 2026 in early March alongside the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro.
