Research conducted by analysts at Casino.org, calculated findings through a nationwide poll of over 1,000 participants, Google search trend analysis of traditional Irish superstitions and assessment of folklore themed festivals.
It found that Westmeath is ranked the highest county in the midlands and seventh nationally.Â
Offaly are in ninth, while Laois is the second least superstitious across the nation, just ahead of Tipperary.
Kilkenny has been named as the superstition capital.Â
