Thousands of BMW cars worldwide have been recalled by the company over safety concerns.
The manufacturer has identified issues with the engine starter which could affect up to 500,000 cars according to AFP.
Vehicles including starters developed between 2020 and 2022 are likely to be recalled as a result.
Affected drivers will be contacted and there’s no clarity on how many cars will be affected here.
