Tiffany Smyth and Seamus Culleton
A bench warrant issued in this country in 2009 for the arrest of Irishman Seamus Culleton – who is currently detained at an ICE facility in the US – concerned an incident where he was alleged by gardaí to be in possession of 25 ecstasy tablets.
It is understood that one of the charges on which Mr Culleton failed to appear before New Ross District Court alleges he obstructed gardaí by discarding 25 MDMA tablets from his person as gardaí attempted to search him.
