It seems that the goodwill Brook Compton has waned, with viewers turning against the model after a clash with other brides over their husbands.
Tensions came to a head during Wednesday night’s heated episode of Married At First Sight, when outspoken Brook, 27, told her female co-stars how she was appalled by her husband Chris Nield’s audition video.
But when it was time for the other brides to reveal their husbands’ red and green flags, Brook repeatedly cut in, throwing out fiery comments about their compatibility.
Viewers wasted no time in slamming the Queensland bride’s behaviour during the exercise, with one viewer dubbing her ‘mean’ and ‘nasty’.
‘I really loved Brook at the beginning… I’m really disappointed to see how she behaved tonight,’ another commented on the official MAFS Instagram page.
‘I’m really put off – never okay to talk to anyone the way she spoke to other women tonight. No excuse.’

Another suggested that Brook’s actions at the event should be a major red flag for her groom, Chris.
‘Never thought I’d say this… but Chris, run!’ the viewer wrote, while another added: ‘Brook deserves being matched with Chris.’
Also unimpressed with Brook, another MAFS fan suggested she was jealous of the other brides.
‘OMG Brook another jealous one,’ they wrote.
‘Not everyone has red flags after a few weeks.’
The criticism didn’t end there either, with yet another angry viewer commenting: ‘Brook wow. Showing your true colours.’
It wasn’t just Brook who copped criticism, with many also slamming fellow bride Gia Fleur, 35, for her part in the drama.
‘Brook and Gia saying they are girls’ girls… after ripping into every girl,’ one fan commented.

‘Brook and Gia Wow…… Mean Girls much,’ said another, while one wrote, ‘Brook and Gia are GENUINE mean girls- yikes.’
The wild scene occurred when Brook rattled off her husband Chris’ red flags to the other brides.
‘The final red flag, I watched his video, and he said, “I hate fat people”,’ Brook told the room of shocked women.
‘He said, “Give me a brunette skinny girl on a silver platter, and I will be there for her”.’
The entire female cast was disgusted by Chris’ words, with Brook revealing how she issued a blunt clapback to her husband.
‘I said to him, “One step forward, two steps back”. I didn’t want to grow with him, I want to see him grown. I didn’t come here to train a boy; if it was me on the outside world, I would tap out. Go tell your mum what you said, you look like a piece of s**t,’ she raged.
It was then fellow bride Stella Mickunaite’s turn to tell the room about what ‘red flags’ she saw in her husband Filip Gregov, and she happily shared that she had none and that their relationship was going well.
However, a blunt Brook wasn’t buying it and called Stella out.
‘I’m sorry, there has to be… I’m calling bulls**t. Surely he gets on your nerves at times!’ Brook asked Stella, who insisted that was not the case.
‘I don’t believe you! Surely he does,’ Brook said.
Fellow bride Alissa Fay then jumped in to say she noticed the amazing chemistry between Stella and Filip, only for Brook to criticise her.
‘I like the way you guys were interacting at the dinner party, when…’ Alissa began, when Brook abruptly cut off her sentence.
‘Do we want to be here all day? Because Alissa will be here then. Alissa is the expert!’ Brook sniped, prompting Alissa to ask, ‘Are you done?’
‘Are you?’ Brook shot back.
‘I was hearing Alissa talk and I was like, “Zip it!”‘ Brook told producers.
Other brides were quick to form an opinion on the fiery clash and speak out to producers.

‘Brook was trying to provoke by not letting a person speak. This kind of b**chy behaviour makes me uncomfortable,’ bride Julia Vogl complained to producers.
‘I definitely saw a different side of Brook; she’s very feisty. Feels like a lack of empathy in her,’ Stella added.
However, Brook was having none of it and said she believed Stella was not being truthful about her relationship, and she was calling her out on that.
‘The fact that she struggled to pick out a red flag is absolutely bonkers to me. My f***ing a**e, you can’t pick out a red flag,’ Brook vented.
