A 26-year-old man caused a disturbance at a hotel, Sligo District Court heard.
Odhran Bartley of Donnelly Vale, Dungannon Co. Tyrone was charged with being intoxicated at The Address, Quay St, Sligo on January 10, 2025.
Garda Mark Irwin told the court that he was on patrol when he received a call from The Address Hotel about a disturbance in a room. Staff told Bartley to leave but he refused.
At 8:36pm, Garda Irwin entered the hotel where he met Bartley. The defendant was very intoxicated, unsteady on his feet, very agitated and very argumentative. Bartley was arrested and conveyed to Sligo Garda Station.
The defendant did not appear in court.
The court heard that Bartley had no previous convictions.
Judge Éiteáin Cunningham convicted and fined Bartley €100.
