Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side were placed in Group B3 during the draw which took place in Brussels this evening.
The Republic of Ireland have been drawn against Israel, Austria and Kosovo in Group B3 of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League.
The draw for the international League competition took place in Brussels this evening.
Ireland will compete in League B this year – which is based off their finishing position in previous versions of the competition.
The League B Groups are as follows:
Group B1: Scotland, Switzerland, Slovenia, North Macedonia
Group B2: Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, Northern Ireland
Group B3: Israel, Austria, Republic of Ireland, Kosovo
Group B4: Poland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Romania, Sweden
FAI President Paul Cooke confirmed earlier this week that Ireland would fulfil any fixture with Israel, if it was part of a UEFA competition.
Those B3 games will take place between September 24th and November 17th.
