Death Notice of Paddy Seymour (Woodford, Galway)

Paddy Seymour, Upperforge, Woodford, Loughrea, Galway.

It is with broken hearts we share the news of the passing of Paddy on Wednesday 11th February, 2026, in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff in University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by his mother Anne and sister Anne Marie. Adored husband and best friend of Anne Marie and the most amazing Dad to Paula. So sadly missed by his father Dickie, brother Richard, treasured grandchildren and apples of his eye Jimmy and Darragh, Paula’s mother Fidelma and Paula’s partner Gerard. Also fondly missed by his Uncle Jimmy, Aunt Kitty, cousins, neighbours, large circle of friends, and the staff of Seymours Loughrea.

Rest In Peace

Paddy will repose in his home in Upperforge, Woodford, on Saturday evening, February 14th, from 4pm to 7pm.

There will be a shuttle bus service in operation from Woodford Church. Please follow stewards’ instructions.

Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, February 15th at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Woodford, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mass shall be available locally on FM105.0 radio and live streamed on the weblink below.
