The search is on to find Ireland’s latest Lotto winner who just scooped a life-changing prize worth hundreds of thousands in Wednesday night’s draw.
The fortunate player scored the Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000, and the winning combination was 20, 23, 24, 31, 40, 46 and bonus 11.
As the mystery winner has yet to come forward, the National Lottery has issued an urgent appeal for all players to carefully check their numbers. As part of this appeal, they have confirmed exactly where the golden ticket was sold.
It has been revealed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw (February 11) at the Circle K Grosvenor Service Station on the Rathmines Road, Dublin 6.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan has the following advice for the winner: “While over 87,000 players nationwide won prizes in last night’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, one player in Dublin now has a ticket worth an incredible €250,000.
“We are urging all of our players, particularly those in the Dublin 6 area, to carefully check their tickets today. The Lotto Plus 2 winner should sign the back of their ticket and keep it somewhere safe.
“They should contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.”
As there was no winner of the €9,263,785 jackpot on offer in last night’s Lotto draw, Saturday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €9.8 million.
Players hoping to win big are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Saturday evening.
