Spurs have entered fully-fledged crisis mode, with the club in a race against time to find a new manager after the sacking of Thomas Frank.
The Dane was relieved of his duties on Wednesday, with Spurs still winless in the Premier League in 2026, and veering dangerously close to a relegation battle.

The North London giants sit in 16th place, just five points ahead of 18th-placed West Ham and seemingly unable to buy a win in the league.
To make matters worse, they face Arsenal, and trips to Sunderland to Liverpool, in their next five league games, meaning they are under immense pressure to find the right successor to Frank, and fast.
A few familiar names are among the bookies’ favourites, including Mauricio Pochettino, but club legend Robbie Keane has also emerged as a real contender to take over.
Keane is certainly in the mix if the bookies’ odds are to be believed, with the Irishman right among the favourites, and there were calls for him to be handed the reins shortly after Frank’s sacking on Wednesday.
Ireland’s record goalscorer is unlikely to take the job, however, unless he is offered the permanent job, with Keane settled as manager of Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.
On Thursday, the Dubliner responded to the links with taking over at his former club Spurs – or, rather, refused to.

Robbie Keane refuses to give on Spurs rumours
After Ferencvaros’ 4-0 win over Csakvar on Wednesday evening, Robbie Keane was asked about the rumours linking him with a return to Spurs, this time in the dugout.
His response was brief.
Interviewer:Â “Would you expect their invitation for you to become their manager?”
Keane:Â “I can’t help speculation.”
Keane would then promptly exit the interview.

It was an intriguing response, that at least suggested that Robbie Keane is aware of the links with the Spurs job.
For now, little concrete information has emerged from behind-the-scenes in North London, amid real fears the club could be in danger of relegation if their current form continues.
Spurs are next in action on Sunday, February 22nd, when they face the daunting task of hosting bitter rivals and league leaders Arsenal.
It doesn’t get any easier.
