University of Limerick claimed their second successive Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup title when overcoming near neighbours Mary Immaculate College Limerick by 13 points at Croke Park on Friday night.
Three goals inside the opening quarter from Jack O’Neill, Adam English and Jack Leahy put paid to a relatively bright Mary Immaculate opening as UL enjoyed a 3-13 to 0-13 advantage by half-time.
