Feast your eyes upon Moon Knight’s new threads (or lack thereof) in a preview for Marc Spector: Moon Knight

Moon Knight has, historically, put a lot of consideration into the outfits he wears. That’s what happens when you choose to wear all white: it’s a commitment to both the dry cleaner and your stain remover of choice. Aside from matching the color of the moon, wearing white means that the blood of Moon Knight’s enemies stands out against his costume over the course of a fight. In other words, it’s an intimidation tactic. Unlike Batman, Moon Knight’s costume communicates that he wants his foes to see him, to know that he’s coming to beat them up.

But now, ol’ Moony is in a new sartorial era in the pages of Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 by Jed MacKay, Devmalya Pramanik, and Rachelle Rosenberg. I hope you caught the end of the previous issue, where Marc once again dons his white mask, because you would have noticed that he also ditched wearing a shirt altogether. Take a look at the covers of Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 below, as well as some preview pages. The covers for Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 are by Paulo Siqueira and Rachelle Rosenberg, Declan Shalvey, Phil Noto, and Kaare Andrews, respectively.

If you’ve been reading Moon Knight for a while, you may have noticed that the guy enters a new era every time he switches up his outfit. Remember when he got his Mister Knight fit? Same idea. Given the sheer savagery of him in the Kaare Andrews cover, along with the return of the horrifically villainous character, Bushman, it’s safe to say that this new phase for Marc will be brutal and feral.

Marc Spector: Moon Knight #2 will hit comic book shops on March 18.
