James Van Der Beek, the star of Dawson’s Creek, sadly died last week of colorectal cancer at the age of 48. He leaves behind a wife, Kimberly, and six children. He announced that he had cancer in November 2024.

The news comes at a time when the incidence of colorectal cancer is rising in younger people. This is noteworthy because, in general, cancer is inclined to strike older people.
