People leaving Lawlor’s Hotel in Naas have to walk on the road, according to local councillor Anne Breen.
She asked Kildare County Council to erect bollards on the footpath at the Dublin Road at the corner with Gleann Na Gréine and adjacent to the Tuckmill Crafts shop.

Cllr Breen said this is “to prevent motorists parking on the footpath and forcing pedestrians on to the road (and is) in the interests of public safety.”
She added: “There is a danger there.”
KCC said it will include the installation of bollards on the footpath in the 2026 footpath works programme.
