Valentine’s Day is certain to be even more memorable than usual for one EuroMillions player after they scooped an incredible €1,005,000 in Friday's Ireland Only Raffle.

One lucky Irish EuroMillions is enjoying a very memorable Valentine’s Day after they bagged life-changing prize worth more than €1 million in Friday’s special EuroMillions draw.

The punter snagged a whopping €1,005,000 as part of a promotional draw which guaranteed one of 10 Irish winners an extra €1 million on top of the €5,000.

As with every EuroMillions draw, ten players won €5,000 with their unique raffle ticket number. However, in Friday’s (February 13) draw, those ten winning tickets were then entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional €1 million.

The winning raffle code was: I-TGQ-37601

The National Lottery is now urging all EuroMillions players to check their tickets carefully as one player now has a stub worth a life-changing amount.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their €1,005,000 prize at Lotto HQ.

Meanwhile, the numbers called in Friday’s main EuroMillions draw were: 09, 13, 31, 37, 40 and the Lucky Stars were 06 and 09.

While Friday’s jackpot, which was worth a whopping €53,818,195, went unclaimed, one Irish player did come agonisingly close to scooping the hge sum after natchign four correct numbers. While the ticketholder missed out on the life-changing jackpot, they did nab the 4 + 2 Stars prize worth €1,046.

Meanwhile, the number to look out for in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw are: 08, 16, 44, 45 and 48. The jackpot in this draw went unclaimed, although 75 player did match four correct number to each pocket a cool €2,000.
