Laura Woods had already been planning to start looking for a new job when she was offered the chance to helm Dublin Q102’s new afternoon show, The Home Stretch.

“I’d intended to return to a full-time role at the end of the summer,” she says with a smile. But the unexpected offer brought that timeline forward.
