For the price, you’re getting a lot, from top-tier build quality and design, to punchy components like an RTX 5060, Intel Core i7-14700F, and 32GB of DDR5. As far as RTX 5060 builds go, this is one of the higher-spec options you can get, but it still manages to stay affordable at under $1,200. This would be an excellent PC for those looking for great 1080p and 1440p gaming performance, and something that could handle multitasking and creative workflows with ease.

The RTX 5060 is one of the best graphics cards you can get if you’re after something more budget-friendly for 1080p and decent 1440p gaming, which also has some of the latest technology and features. Unlike the RTX 5050, which has improved GDDR6 memory, the RTX 5060 has GDDR7, which has significantly more bandwidth. You’ve also got 4th-gen ray tracing cores and 5th-gen tensor cores, the latter of which powers its 50-series exclusive MFG upscaling technology. It’s also a good option for content creators looking to keep costs lower, as it features professional-grade tools like NVIDIA Broadcast and 9th-gen encoders.
Intel Core i7-14700F processor
One of the best processors from the 14th-gen lineup, the i7-14700F is an excellent all-rounder that’s ideal for those looking for more than just gaming performance. Its 20 cores and 28 threads make it very adept at handling a wide range of creative workflows, heavy multitasking, and productivity tasks, and its 5.4GHz boost clock and 33MB L3 cache make it a good choice for high fps 1080p and 1440p gaming. Storage and RAM
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 in this build, which is going to be excellent for gaming, creative work, and general usage. It’s going to come in especially handy if you’re playing larger open-world games, which can eat up a lot of RAM just to run, especially at higher resolutions. There’s a modest-sized 1TB SSD, too, which is fine for most people, but you’ll probably want to do the occasional storage sweep if you plan on playing more than a few large AAA games on rotation.
Things to consider
If you’re thinking about budget and weighing up your options, it’s not a bad idea to check out some of the RTX 5050 models, in all honesty. RTX 5060 prebuilds are usually between $1,100 and $1,300 for something pretty good, but it’s not uncommon to find RTX 5050 gaming PCs under $900 in sales. You may have to say goodbye to the high core and thread count CPUs and settle with DDR4 RAM, but they’re still excellent if you’re primarily gaming in 1080p or playing esports titles.
