The Dublin store that sold last night’s €1 million Euromillions ticket has been revealed.

The lucky player became the first millionaire lottery winner of the year after landing €1,005,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle. The winning ticket was bought on the day of the draw at Spar Drumcondra, 122 Drumcondra Road Upper, Dublin 9.

Staff at the shop were “thrilled” to sell the golden ticket. Store manager, Niall Tobin, said: “What a fantastic win for Dublin’s Northside.

“The team here at Spar Drumcondra are absolutely delighted to have sold the winning EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle ticket that has made the first National Lottery millionaire of 2026. We’re thrilled for Ireland’s newest millionaire and want to wish them every success in the future.”

National Lottery spokesman, Darragh O’Dwyer, added: “What an incredible way to mark Valentine’s weekend, as Ireland’s first National Lottery millionaire of 2026. The winning Ireland Only Raffle ticket was sold at Spar Drumcondra, and in total, more than 56,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws last night. We’re absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to see the joy this win brings to Ireland’s newest millionaire.”

The winning raffle ticket number was I-TGQ-37601. Friday night’s draw featured a special ‘Ireland Only’ Raffle event, with a guaranteed €1,005,000 prize for one player. As with every EuroMillions draw, 10 players win €5,000 with their unique raffle ticket number.

Among those players, one winner has had an additional €1,000,000 added to their prize, making them the first Lotto millionaire of the 2026.The latest EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe.
