Dumped Love islander Jack Keating boldly claimed that his family will “love” his partner Sher Suarez once they meet her.

The Dubliner, who was coupled up the American beauty on Love Island All Stars, said the pair are hoping their relationship continues to blossom outside the villa.

During Friday night’s episode, which is filmed in Franschhoek, South Africa, viewers saw Ronan Keating’s son and his partner sensationally dumped after receiving the least amount of votes.

When asked how he felt about being dumped, Jack said: “I wasn’t expecting that! We got dumped straight after the game; no time to let the news settle in.”

Speaking about their future plans and if they plan on staying together, Jack said: “We’re definitely going to try. Hopefully we can work on ourselves now, without outside distractions.

“I know she wanted me to stand up for us a bit more last night. I really understand where she’s coming from. I want to stand up for the couple that I’m in.

“But with everyone giving me their two cents on the situation… but we’ve spoken to each other – definitely 100% interested in seeing how this goes and making it work on the outside.”

Jack said the pair have spoken about having a long distance relationship and says he spends a lot of time in the US. He declared: “We’re both willing to make it work.”

Jack also said he plans on taking Sher to his local in Dublin when she comes to Ireland. He promised he’ll be “the best” tour guide when she does jet in.

Speaking about a potential visit, Jack explained: “I’ve filled her in on some spots! I’ll take her to my local. She can meet my mates. I’m looking forward to being a tour guide. She’s not been before, it’ll be a bit of a culture shock. She’ll need to get used to the weather as well. I’m optimistic.”

But one thing he is sure about is how his family will react once they meet Sher. He said: “Once they meet her they’ll love her. She’s such a lovely person with a heart of gold. I hope her family like me, too.

“That’s what I’m stressing about! She hasn’t been happy with how I’ve handled some situations.”

Meanwhile, Sher said they were going to make it work. She said: “We’re still going to try to work on things. I think us working on things outside of the Villa might be better for us without the outside opinions, where we can focus on our relationship without everyone getting involved.

“He is very mature, I forget he’s younger than me. He knows what he wants, he’s very sweet, it’s not what I’m used to. I’m used to semi-toxic men and he’s the complete opposite. I’m at an age where I want a solid foundation, I want to work towards having a family.

“He’s already there and doesn’t feel the need to play games. I feel a comfort when I’m around him. I think that’s why people think we’re boring, as we jumped into that stage. Not everything needs to be a joke, but shouldn’t be so serious all the time, I get that.”

She continued: “Part of the reason we got on so well is that we both saw it could work outside of this. He’s always in New York, which isn’t far from me, I’m always in Europe.

“It’s doable. Most of my relationships have been long distance. I’m excited to go to Dublin and excited to see his world, see how he is in his environment.

“I’m excited to see him in his element. He’s never been to Miami – I can’t wait to show him my world. I don’t know if I can ever explain Miami to someone who has never been there. I think he’s going to be very surprised by the whole experience – I think he’ll probably want to move there.”
