Celebrity Vogue Williams told an amusing story about an embarrassing ex who didn’t like it when the focus wasn’t on him.

The 40-year-old mum of three has since found her happy ever after with reality star Spencer Matthews, but she had her fair share of difficulties before meeting her husband.

She was married before meeting Spencer, to former Westlife star Brian McFadden, and she has spoken candidly about some of her dating escapades on her podcast Vogue & Amber. It comes as Vogue was left seething about receiving an ‘insulting’ question about her face.

On the show she co-hosts with older sister Amber, Vogue told the story about how her “embarrassing ex” started smashing things when people weren’t talking about him.

She said: “I used to have a really embarrassing ex who did something like that to me, remember?” Amber responded: “I know which one you’re talking about, the speaker?”

Vogue: “He did not like that the focus wasn’t on him, picked up the speaker and just smashed it on the ground.

“And we were like ‘what are you doing dude, go away.’ Just because we don’t want to talk about you all the time, for f**** sake. Some people are just strange aren’t they?”

Vogue ended up marrying Spencer after meeting him on winter sports reality show The Jump in 2017. They have three children together – Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three.

It comes after Spencer revealed he can’t move into his family’s “forever” Irish home. Vogue expressed her wish to “spend more time in Dublin” after they bought the home in Howth, but Spencer isn’t planning to relocate there permanently just yet.

Spencer explained why he wouldn’t contemplate a permanent move to the family-friendly coastal retreat.

Discussing the seaside haven that holds such significance for his wife with the Sunday Times, the former Made in Chelsea star said: “I used to be a bit of a culprit for jokes at Howth’s expense, but I quite like it actually.

“If I had to live there full-time at this stage in my life and career, I would feel like I’m missing out on the hustle and bustle of London.”

Spencer and Vogue are based in London with their kids for work reasons. Their home in Ireland reportedly set them back €2.8million and the family spends three weeks there during the summer, 10 days over Christmas, plus mid-terms and Easter.

Vogue, who is originally from nearby Portmarnock, told The Times both she and the children “love it” and that her youngsters have started forming friendships there. The I’m a Celeb star shared: “It’s where I grew up; I want our kids to know it and their Irish roots too. Our new home in Howth is our relaxing space, and it is our forever home. The kids love it and have made their own friends, which is so cute.”
