Kieran McGeeney has suggested that Croke Park’s latest move to address the thorny issue of amateur status in the GAA is aimed at curtailing “big backroom teams”.

The Armagh manager was speaking after their weekend league defeat in Roscommon where he was asked about the report just published by the Amateur Status Review Committee (ASRC).
