Kerry Dairy Ireland has announced its January milk price.
It will pay 37.5 cent per litre, including VATÂ and a base-price top-up of three cents per litre quality and sustainability bonus, for milk supplied by farmers last month.
In its monthly statement, the milk processor said dairy commodity markets have stabilised in recent weeks, finding a floor despite continued strong milk supply.
It added that milk supplies across major exporting regions are still exceeding earlier projections.
In keeping with trends across Ireland, Kerry Dairy Ireland has cut its milk price since January 2025, by 30% (29.9%), when it paid 53.5 cent per litre.
Based on Kerry Dairy Ireland’s average milk solids for January, the milk price return inclusive of VAT, quality and sustainability bonuses is 45.28 cent per litre.
That’s the equivalent of 41.08 cent per litre including VAT when calculated using EU standard constituents (3.4% protein and 4.2% butterfat)
