Ben Ford, 35, left his marriage to wife Victoria in order to start a relationship with his biological mother, with who he confessed to sharing “mind-blowing” intimacy.
Kim West, 54, gave birth Ben while a 19-year-old university student in California and placed him for adoption before moving back to London, her birthplace.
More than three decades later, in 2014, she received an unanticipated letter from Ben, asking to meet her.
Kim acknowledged that, following receipt of the letter, she began experiencing powerful sexual dreams featuring her son.
Upon their eventual meeting at a hotel, the duo drank champagne and kissed, reports the Mirror.
Ben’s wife, Victoria, grew concerned about the amount of time Ben was dedicating to Kim and began jokingly referring to her as the “mummy girlfriend”.

However, three days after Ben and Kim started having “mind-blowing” sex with each other, Ben revealed the genuine nature of their involvement to his wife.
He told Victoria: “Every time I have had sex with you since I met her [my mum], I imagine it’s her I am kissing, otherwise I can’t perform.”
Ben subsequently ended his marriage to pursue a relationship with Kim, though Michigan state law enforces penalties of up to 15 years’ imprisonment and lifetime registration as a sex offender for incest offences.
Kim and Ben maintain their relationship isn’t incestuous but stems from “Genetic Sexual Attraction”, a pseudoscientific phenomenon whereby family members who weren’t raised together meet as adults and develop romantic feelings for one another.

Ben characterised his mother as a “sexual being”, whilst Kim maintained they share a “once in a lifetime opportunity” at love.
She explained: “This is not incest, it is GSA [Genetic Sexual Attraction]. We are like peas in a pod and are meant to be together.”
The duo made their relationship public in 2016, but were compelled to go underground after facing threats of arrest.
The couple had previously announced plans to wed and start a family, although both UK and US legislation forbids this.
Offspring from incestuous unions face elevated risks of recessive genetic disorders.
Kim stated: “I know people will say we’re disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you’re hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it.”
