Sinn Féin Deputy Pa Daly has said the Republic of Ireland soccer team should not play in games against Israel in the UEFA Nations’ League competition this coming autumn, saying Israel ‘tick all the boxes’ of a rogue state.
Deputy Daly accused Israel of using occasions such as sport and the Eurovision song contest to propagate ‘the myth’ that it is a normal, progressive, European-style country.
