All five Ireland South MEPs will address Seanad Éireann this afternoon.
It’s the first time all elected MEPs from the constituency will be present in the Seanad chamber since the election in June 2024.
Fine Gael’s Sean Kelly, Fianna Fáil’s Billy Kelleher and Cynthia Ní Mhurchú, Sinn Féin’s Kathleen Funchion and Independent Michael McNamara will discuss several topics with Senators.
The meeting will also cover the general theme of Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the European Council.
