A row which has broken out between Limerick’s directly elected mayor and councillors in Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil comes down to “basic personalities” and “people that don’t get on” as government ministers urged both sides to resolve the issue.
Limerick mayor John Moran this week launched an attack on a number of councillors from both parties, accusing them of undermining his mandate as mayor.
