Eamon Dunphy has hit out at Uefa for allowing Israel to continue participating in international football during its ongoing war in Gaza, which the former Ireland international has labelled as a “genocide”.

Last week, Ireland drew Israel in the Nations League and voices across the country have since called on the FAI to boycott the autumn games because of the 2023 invasion of Gaza, which followed Hamas’ October 7 attacks, and the grave humanitarian situation that has unfolded in the region.
